The high flows of September, October, November are the product of monsoon and snow-melt. Again, in April and May (and even early June), pre-monsoon snow-melt from the Himalayan giants swells the rivers to create a second season of prime-time white river.

River Grades: (White water rivers and the rapids on them) have an internationally recognized grading scale.
Grade I .....................Flat water no. rapids, ‘barely a splash’
Grade II ...................Bubbling current, small roller-coaster rapids
GradeIII ..................Needs trained guide- technical & exciting.
Grade IV & V ..........Seriously big rapids, unforgiving, exhilarating. Require some rafting experience and confidence in water since there are possibilities of raft overturning
Grade VI .................Unrunnable-"don’t got for it"

Day 2: Early morning tea or coffee. have breakfast and reach put in point raft for 5 hrs and have lunch around midday at take out point. After lunch drive back to kathmandu for 03 hrs. Reach around 1900. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
